MY PRIVATE UNIVERSE

For this exhibition, the universe was an intellectual model at whose center stood the Schauflers as collectors: their view of art and the world, their aesthetic preferences, ideas, and connections to life. For the passionate collectors, collecting is an endless story. It follows a subjective order that expresses, in a sense, the identity of the owners.

This exhibition shed light on themes and “images” that cannot be clearly distinguished but rather transition into one another: the beautiful, traveling, presenting fashion, the world of things, passions, parallel worlds, chaos and order. The result was a network of associations in which works and spaces form nodes that related to the surrounding works.
