Italian art in the Schaufler Collection

To go with the MARIO SCHIFANO exhibition, SCHAUWERK is showing artworks by Italian artists from the Schaufler Collection until 11 January 2026.

In the high-bay warehouse, works by Franco Angeli, Jannis Kounellis, Giulio Paolini, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Francesco Lo Savio and Ettore Spalletti illustrate the artistic environment in which Schifano developed his style. This is not a complete art-historical classification. Rather, it is an insight into Peter and Christiane Schaufler's passion for collecting, their love of Italy and the country's art and culture.
